Results from the Dixie Classic Grand NAI
The Grissom High School Bands continued their long tradition of excellence Saturday in
Chattanooga as they participated in the Dixie Classic Grand National Adjudicators
Invitational. All three bands came home with superior ratings, which is especially noteworthy for
Concert Band since few other bands in their classification were able to make the same claim.
Soloists from Sym I and Sym II were recognized, Sym I received the only brass award given that
evening, and FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW Sym I took the top honors as the
grand champion of the festival! Congratulations to all three bands for outstanding, memorable
performances!
