Our Performance Record

Dixie Classic Grand NAI Results
Dixie Classic

Sym I, Sym II, and Concert Band all performed admirably at the Dixie Classic Grand National Adjudicators Invitational in Chattanooga on April 28, 2007. Sym I received an Outstanding Woodwinds Award, and both Sym I and Sym II received an Outstanding Brass Award (the only two brass awards given that evening). Sym I and Sym II also received Superior ratings, and Concert band earned an Excellent rating. Finally, Sym I was awarded the Grand NAI Honor Award for the outstanding band at the festival! The large plaque in the photo lists the Honor Award band for each of the 18 years that the Dixie Classic Grand NAI has been in existence. As the 18th band to receive the Honor Award, Sym I will bring this plaque home until next year when the plaque will be retired and a new one started.
